My Stealth Ham Shack...

I'm just not into ruining the decor of my vintage interior with a pile of dusty gear and the usual trappings of the ham hobby. So I decided to use my spare room for something else. Thus my shack lurks in an unsuspecting corner of the room, hidden until I swing the doors open.
It is a $20 yard sale special: a computer cabinet/armoire. I "souped it up" some: reinforced frame, added caster wheels, extra shelf (for HF rig), ventilation fan, parts bins behind the black curtain. (coax goes out the window behind the armoire)
The toys:

- Icom 756 Pro 2, barefoot
- Yaesu FT-7800 dual bander 2m/70cm
- Icom IC-A110 crew vehicle airband transceiver*
- Vertex Standard VXA-700 Spirit 2m/Airband HT
- Rigblaster interface
- Cheap radio shack scanner & external speaker
- Computer - varies. Usually an obsolete laptop.
- Antennas: Sigma GT5 multiband HF, and a 40m wire dipole.

*It once served as an emergency radio for my flying/skydiving club during remote desert fly-ins. It is now retired to dust collection.
