"The Alludium Q36 Explosive Space Modulator" was a product of the evil genius of "Marvin the Martian", the pint-sized Roman helmeted Martian in the old Bugs Bunny cartoon. He wanted to destroy the earth with it.

The name was also borrowed by the city of Morton, Illinois -- the pumpkin canning capitol of the world --to adorn their own monstrous creation, "The Alludium Q36 Pumpkin Modulator", a huge air cannon used to fire pumpkins nearly a mile at events such as Delaware's famed "Punkin Chunkin" catapult contest* and at other "chunks" around the country.
