Born: December 5, 1929, Deceased February 13, 1979 Career Highlights: Dad dropped out of Harvard and enlisted in
USAF as a private in 1950. Within two years he had become a USAF officer and fighter
pilot. He served in Korea and Vietnam, although he never saw any action (he arrived in
Korea several In 1972 Dad retired from the Air Force as a Lt. Colonel, and moved to Naples, Florida with his family. There he took up a successful second career as a Savings & Loan banker. He divorced his wife Virginia around 1976, and died of cancer in 1979. Clicking below will take you to a website that I first put onto the internet in late 1999. This website showcases Dad's beautiful color photographs from his first combat assignment in Korea, circa 1953-54, with the U.S. Air Force's 336th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, known then and today as the "Fabulous Rocketeers".
