A Day with Thomas A. Edison The link below will take you to the American Memory website page containing the film "A Day With Thomas A. Edison". This silent film was produced in the 1920s by General Electric & Bray Studios. As the title suggests, the film documents a typical day in the life of Thomas Edison, circa 1920s. Howell/Starr family members take notice: John W. Howell first appears near the end of reel 2, and is named in a title card. He subsequently appears near the end of reel 3, and is present in a few other scenes in subsequent reels. To view each reel, you must have some kind of media software (capable of playing MPG files) installed on your computer, and your browser must see it as a plug-in feature. Normally, you will only have to click on a reel number below to activate or "spawn" the external viewer and view the film. American Memory Presents "A Day with Thomas A. Edison"
